Team Customer Contact Center

Whether you are a resident, entrepreneur or organization: the Customer Contact Center of Dienst Dommelvallei is your first point of contact in the municipality of Nuenen and the municipality of Son en Breugel. The KCC handles all municipal products and services for these two municipalities.

Because of the variety of subjects this entails, the team works in a number of subfields, each with its own specialists. In addition, the KCC strives to be as all-round as possible in terms of knowledge and skills, which is why you will see a number of colleagues in multiple workplaces. 

The TIC: Telephone Information Point

Anyone calling the municipality of Son en Breugel or the municipality of Nuenen will get one of our colleagues from the TIC on the line. They answer frequently asked questions, help provide the right forms or connect to a subject specialist.

Receptions town halls

Our receptionists all also work as telephone operators for the KCC, so they have plenty of experience with citizen contact and the issues involved. Our hospitable colleagues welcome visitors, issue travel documents and driver's licenses, and help residents with first-line questions as soon as they visit City Hall.

Civil affairs: counters and back office

In the Nuenen and Son en Breugel town halls, the desks are staffed by the Customer Contact Center. This is where residents can go, for example, to obtain a new passport, to report a change of address or to provide products offered via the website. 

The back office team picks up the more complex cases such as court decisions and the granting of Dutch nationality. 

Civil Affairs: marital status

A number of colleagues on the team have been sworn in as civil registrars. They handle civil status tasks such as acknowledgements, births and deaths. These colleagues also deal with the creation of marriage records and the administrative processing of registered partnerships. 

Wedding officials (extraordinary civil registrar).

Dienst Dommelvallei has a permanent team of wedding officiants: our babes, or civil registrars. They perform marriages and registered partnerships in the municipality of Nuenen and the municipality of Son en Breugel

Web team

Our web team works closely with the communications team of Nuenen and that of Son en Breugel. Together they manage the websites of these municipalities. The web team also works on the intranets of both Dienst Dommelvallei and the municipalities of Geldrop-Mierlo, Son en Breugel and Nuenen. The web team follows trends and explores possibilities in the online landscape, such as the use of chatbot, live-chat and social-media tools.

Resident needs: growth and development

We want our residents to be satisfied. Therefore, we are constantly working to improve services for all Dommelvallei organizations. We digitize products wherever possible. For example, we work with a QR code in the town hall that allows residents to get to the right online form faster, or send a text message as soon as someone's driver's license arrives. This is how we make our processes simpler and more accessible to residents and businesses.
