Communications Officer

Are you a creative (co-)thinker who loves online media? A go-getter who can change gear quickly? A communicative jack-of-all-trades who feels at home in a political-administrative environment? And have you graduated recently or not so long ago? Then we are looking for you!
You will work within the team Support, task area Communication. This cluster consists of 4 communication advisors and 3 communication assistants. You have your own tasks and you will support the advisors in the implementation of communication plans.
Your duties
- You will be (co-)responsible for content management of the municipality's website, for example: editing and posting news items, decision lists, reports, new (project) pages, etc.
- You will manage our social media channels and be (co-)responsible for webcare (Coosto).
- You manage the content calendar and engage and encourage colleagues in optimizing this calendar.
- You will participate in the online team (cooperation between the 3 municipalities and Dienst Dommelvallei in the area of website management and development) and from that role you will think about website management and its further development.
- You will provide weekly coverage in local newspapers and think about the further development of the municipal page.
What do we ask of you?
- You have a completed college degree in communications, recent graduate or some experience in the communications field.
- You have an affinity for online media and online tools.
- You are a team player who can also work well independently.
- You have a fluent pen and can (re)write well in understandable language.
What can you expect from us?
- A small and engaged task force with communications colleagues.
- A salary of up to €3,732 gross per month (salary level April 1, 2022) for a 36-hour work week (scale 8, depending on your education and experience).
- An employment contract for the duration of 1 year. With good performance prospect of an indefinite employment contract.
- Thereby an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) is 17.05% of your gross salary. You can spend this budget as you wish: for example, by buying extra vacation days, a bicycle or by getting a payout.
- Training budget is available to you because we like to invest in your personal development.
- Flexible working hours where (partial) working from home is possible.
- At the start of your employment contract, you will receive a Chromebook and a smartphone.
