Mediating to work
Over the next 2 years, the Regional Work Company Southeast Brabant (RWB) wants to work with employers to help 240 additional people find work. This number is in addition to the existing target of placing 1307 job seekers.
This ambitious goal is contained in the Perspective for Work action plan. The Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment has decided to support this plan with an amount of 2 million euros. Dienst Dommelvallei prepared the application on behalf of the RWB.
'Perspective on work' actions.
To guide the 240 additional people to work, Perspective on Work:
- Highlight job openings in the region.
- Guide employers to better shape the filling of workplaces.
- Training people in practice.
- Guide closer cooperation between employers, governments and schools in Southeast Brabant.
Support job seekers
The RWB supports job seekers in the regional labor market. This applies both to residents on welfare, Wajong, WW and WIA benefits, workers who want to change jobs and school leavers entering the labor market.

In the RWB(website 04werkt) regional employers, education, the UWV, social work companies and 13 municipalities are connected. The municipalities of Best, Nuenen, Oirschot and Son and Breugel are implementing the action plan together with WSD. Dienst Dommelvallei represents the municipalities of Nuenen and Son and Breugel.
